Sudanese advisor: The new salary scale is independent of the budget and supports employees and retirees

Today, Tuesday, the financial and economic advisor, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, confirmed that the current government is serious about supporting the standard of living of the poor classes.
Salih told (Baghdad Today) that "the current government program is working to support the standard of living for the poor classes or low-income groups, whether employees or retirees, and for this, adjusting the salary scale is one of the most important social principles."
And he indicated, "The new salary scale legislation will be an independent law outside the Maronite law, because it expires at the end of the budget year, and there is real seriousness on the part of the government to support the poor classes or the limited-income groups of employees and retirees through the upcoming new amendment."
And the Parliamentary Finance Committee announced, last Friday, that the new salary scale is still under discussion with the government, denying that it has been discussed or sent to Parliament.
And the head of the committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, told (Baghdad Today) that "most of the employees are waiting for this peace and it will contribute to unifying salaries."
About 4 million employees in Iraq are awaiting the completion of the new salary scale, which is supposed to lead to reducing the differences in the level of salaries between one ministry and another, and raising the nominal salary, but the amendment may affect allocations in some ministries.
