The number of workers covered by the retirement and social security law, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, exceeded 665 thousand workers in the private sector, while it indicated that thousands of workers were laid off and their rights were violated during the past years. From the beginning of this year until the end of last June, it included more than 65 thousand workers from various projects in the private sector, so that the number of guaranteed workers exceeds 665 thousand workers. She pointed out that this large segment of workers will have a retirement salary of not less than 500 thousand dinars per month. As well as other privileges within the new retirement and social security law.Hiran added that there is a great demand by private sector workers to register them and include them in social security, as the ministry has started the second phase of the inclusion of new meals for workers, especially workers in investment projects, malls, factories, and even samoon bakeries.
