On Wednesday, the Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, inaugurated the West Mosul Conversion Station.
A statement from the ministry received by Al-Iqtisad News stated, “The Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, opened the West Mosul Transfer Station today, accompanied by the Governor of Nineveh, members of the House of Representatives, the general directors, and a number of those in charge of the shrines of Nineveh.”
He added, "The West Mosul Conversion Station is characterized by an ultra-high voltage of 400 KV, and it has been brought into operation with a capacity of 1000 MVA to contribute to achieving availability and high capacities for the power transmission network in Nineveh, and in turn it will address bottlenecks and low voltages."
