Obliging companies implementing projects to remove bottlenecks to continue their work

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities obligated the companies implementing projects to relieve traffic congestion to continue work even if they do not have financial support. The official spokesman for the ministry, Nabil Al-Saffar, told Al-Sabah: All companies to which projects to relieve traffic congestion were referred were selected according to Prior study, standards and controls guarantee the continuity of work without apologizing for any financial obstacle. He pointed out that the financial allocations for the budget have not been received by the Ministry yet, but this has not negatively affected the continuation of work on the projects as a result of the presence of a contractual clause obligating companies to continue working even with the delay in the availability of cover. Financial, by providing financial liquidity by the company at 50 percent of the value of the business, in addition to submitting a financial letter from one of the approved banks with a letter confirming that they have sufficient cash liquidity.Al-Saffar stated that the government sought from the beginning to make the project to remove bottlenecks a success, as it was happening for the first time in the country, in order to complete it within the specified times.
