    Information/translation..
A report by the American magazine Foreign Policy, on Thursday, confirmed that American political and military analysts expect horrific fighting to break out in Gaza as the Israeli occupation army attempts to approach it, and they point to the brutal lessons that the American army and the American Marine Corps learned from Iraq.
The report, translated by the Maalouma Agency, stated, “With the emergence of combat complications represented by the network of tunnels established by the resistance factions in Gaza, which the American army did not face, the Israeli army’s fight will be more difficult and longer than the battles that the American occupation forces fought in Iraq.”
The report added, "The sprawling maze of tunnels in Gaza represents an aspect of the war that the American army did not face during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and its history extends to bad memories for the American army dating back to the Vietnam War."
The report continued, "Throughout the Vietnam War, the Viet Cong's 150-mile-long tunnel systems, especially those in the Cu Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City (then Saigon), played a crucial role in the terrible drama of that conflict and were a maze of narrow corridors and cleverly hidden booby traps." "It often put the American army in complete darkness."
The two reports explained, “The tunnel network put American military and air superiority in bomber planes, artillery, mortars, and other capabilities at bay due to subterranean labyrinths, which allowed guerrilla forces to set up a bewildering ambush on American and South Vietnamese forces above ground and then disappear.”
The report stated, “The network of tunnels established by the Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza bears strategic and tactical resemblance to the tunnels of Vietnam. These underground structures were developed for the first time a long time ago in the region dating back to 2007, and they have diverse purposes. Their development and uses are countless.” Countless numbers that will drive the Israeli army crazy, and the greatest fear of the occupation forces lies in the hidden combat tunnels, in which the element of surprise will play a pivotal role in changing the scale of the conflict in favor of the resistance factions.”
The report noted that “Gaza’s population of 2.2 million, most of whom are civilians, has suffered long-term hardship due to the Israeli blockade, economic challenges, and frequent outbreaks of violence. They are largely unemployed and poor, and, like all people, aspire to Sovereignty and self-determination, as well as a life free of conflict, and although the network of tunnels is considered a military strategy for the resistance factions, it also symbolizes the lengths to which some Palestinians feel they must go to ensure their security, resistance, and regaining their stolen rights.” Ended/25 D
