Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi announced, on Thursday, that those involved in the “Air Navigation” party incident will be brought to justice.
The Ministry of Transport said in a statement, “Today, Thursday, Al-Saadawi issued a number of directives related to the work of employees and the job tasks assigned to them, on the sidelines of the meeting of the opinion body in the ministry.”

The statement added that the minister “directed, on the sidelines of the Ministry’s Opinion Committee meeting, the general directors to follow up and directly supervise any initiatives or celebrations and to follow their approach,” stressing that “the tragic situation in Gaza of massacres and genocide necessitates not holding celebrations like what happened in air navigation.” “Iraqiya.”
Al-Saadawi pointed out, according to the statement, that “there is more than one law prohibiting the promotion of the banned Baath Party and its criminal henchmen,” noting that “an investigative committee will be formed, the results of which will be presented soon.”
He stressed that he “will refer all those involved in glorifying the banned Baath, during the air navigation celebration, to the competent courts to obtain their just punishment in accordance with the law,” stressing that he “will not tolerate any employee in the Ministry of Transport who promotes the banned Baath regime or glorifies the deceased Saddam.”
News circulated on social media indicated that a ceremony held on the occasion of International Air Traffic Controller’s Day witnessed the mention of the name of former regime leader Saddam Hussein.
