The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, confirmed that the government is the one who has the decision to make war and peace in Iraq, and its decision is clear not to allow the destabilization of security and stability in Baghdad and the rest of the provinces.
Al-Shammari said in a television interview, “Iraqi forces seized rocket launchers targeting military bases.”
He stressed, "Baghdad's full commitment to protecting diplomatic missions," noting that "the security forces control all regions to prevent any attacks on neighboring countries, and have been directed to pursue those who carried out the attacks."
Al-Shammari stressed, "the Iraqi government and the Iraqi people's firm position in supporting the Palestinian cause, which is to reject the war on Gaza and the targeting of civilians."
