    Alsumaria News - Localities,
    Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari affirmed today, Tuesday, that the government program of the Republic of Iraq has set its sights on the importance of cooperation with all international partners.


    The media office of the Minister of Interior said, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that the latter "met in his office, representatives of the European Union's advisory mission in Iraq," noting that "at the beginning of the meeting, the minister welcomed his guests and discussed with them a number of issues of common interest."





     
    According to the statement, Al-Shammari stressed during the meeting the importance of improving the horizons of security cooperation and strengthening relations between Iraq and its partners at the security level, and the continuation of joint efforts to develop security policies and keep pace with regional and international changes, to achieve security anticipation in facing all challenges targeting society, foremost of which is the threat of terrorism and ideas. extremism, as well as the fight against organized crime.
     
    And he indicated that "the government program of the Republic of Iraq has set its sights on the importance of cooperation with all international partners, by strengthening relations according to the principle of mutual respect and common interests."

     
    The statement continued, "The continuation of training and the establishment of workshops in various security fields, including those related to stadium security police, were discussed, in conjunction with the imminent launch of the 25th Gulf Championship in Basra Governorate."
     
    For its part, the delegation expressed its thanks and appreciation to the minister for his great interest in supporting security and stability and developing relations with representatives of the European Union mission, according to the statement.
