The Ministry's media office stated in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News, "Tif Sami received the Chair of the Education Committee in the House of Representatives, Suad Al-Waeli, and representatives of the Diwani Order Committee to resolve the issue of confirming educational supervisors."
The meeting discussed "mechanisms for finalizing the file of installing the segment of educational supervisors within the Ministry of Education's staff, and discussing the work of the assigned committee and following up on its latest findings."
The Minister of Finance stressed that "the Ministry pays great attention to resolving all files related to its work in accordance with what is stipulated in the laws and instructions that are consistent with the provisions of the general federal budget."
Sami pointed out that “the Ministry of Finance had previously approached the entities whose work is related to the supervisors segment, for the purpose of providing them with the required data, such as the number of schools included in each directorate and not the total number of the ministry, in addition to determining the actual numbers required for educational supervisors and specialists, in addition to inviting the Ministry of Finance to hold a meeting of the matter committee.” Diwani and discuss the submitted study in order to make the necessary recommendations regarding it.”
It is noteworthy that the Diwaniyah Order Committee formed under the direction of the Prime Minister was approved in accordance with the Council of Ministers meeting in its session held on August 15, 2023, and its membership includes the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning as Chairman, the Director General of the Directorate of Educational Supervision, the Assistant Director General of the Department of Administrative Research and Studies, the representative of the Ministry of Finance, and the legal advisor in Council of Ministers.
