Today, Tuesday, the Parliamentary Legal Committee announced the preparation of its report on the draft law amending the Penal Code No. 111 of 1969 to include it for second reading in the next Council session.
A statement from the committee said, “The committee decided to send two draft laws on intellectual protection and recovery of corruption proceeds to the Presidency of the Council to include them for first reading in the upcoming Parliament sessions, and decided to send the amendment to the House of Representatives law and its formations for second reading.”
He explained, "The attendees discussed a number of draft laws to cancel the decisions of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council, and to include them on the Council's agenda for the first reading and others for the second reading./End 25
