Shafaq News/ Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed, during his meeting today, Wednesday, with the Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, and his accompanying delegation, the importance of regulating the energy market and oil prices under the umbrella of OPEC.
A statement issued by Al-Sudani’s office stated that the latter expressed, during the meeting, Iraq’s welcome to the entry of Saudi companies into the Iraqi market, in which many great investment opportunities are available today, noting the advanced level of relations between the two countries, especially in the areas of investment, development and infrastructure reconstruction in the country. He also pointed out the importance of coordination in positions and congruence of visions regarding regulating the energy market and oil prices under the umbrella of OPEC, ensuring the preservation of the stability of energy markets in the region and the world, and the interests of producing and consuming countries.
