[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The National Investment Commission announced today, Sunday, the visit of the Green Standard Preparation Committee to the city of Bismaya to learn about the indicators achieved in establishing the city in terms of building energy efficiency.
A statement by the authority stated, “Bismaya Residential City hosted a group of heads of teams of the Green Standard Preparation Committee, representing a number of ministries and government sectoral agencies, with the participation of the consultant for renewable energy affairs, Mona Al-Jabri,” indicating that “the teams’ visit aims to know the indicators achieved in establishing The city is energy efficient in buildings, using heat-insulating materials and engineering designs for buildings.”
He added, "The teams reviewed the quality of buildings, designs, and insulation processes that reduce electrical energy consumption, as well as the designs of green spaces in accordance with approved international specifications that result in a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions."
He continued, "The visit discussed the importance of the green environment and sustainability standards, and the possibility of benefiting from the experience of establishing the city of Bismaya as a living experience that simulates the Iraqi environment to be a pioneering residential example for the establishment of new cities in Iraq."/End 3[/rtl]
