A member of the State of Law coalition, Saad Al-Muttalabi, stressed on Sunday the need for political concessions to get out of the political impasse in the Kirkuk and Diyala governorates.

Al-Muttalabi told Al-Maalouma, “There is a state of loss of confidence between the parties to the conflict in Kirkuk Governorate, represented by a lack of compromise between them,” noting, “The proposal to exchange the position of governor and head of the provincial council in Kirkuk and Diyala is useless and has negative allegations.”
He expressed his fear that "the culture of exchanging the position of governor in Kirkuk will become a future political custom, indicating that this custom could push the new governor to spoil what his predecessor did, and then the only one harmed will be the citizen."
Among the solutions proposed in Kirkuk Governorate is the transfer of power in a deliberative manner among the components of the governorate. Ended / 25 AD
