Integrity calls on a former minister to testify about enriching officials

, yesterday, Tuesday, the Integrity Commission called on the former Minister of Finance to testify about the enrichment of some officials at the expense of public money. An Integrity statement stated that “the Authority’s Prevention Department addressed the Ministry of Finance to inform its former Minister (Ali Abdul Amir Allawi), in order to come to the headquarters of the Prevention Department, in order to provide his testimony regarding the information he provided in his statement to a satellite channel in which he indicated the presence of more than 30 A political, economic, or political economic figure whose wealth exceeds one billion dollars, for the purpose of clarifying the names of those figures, their positions, or any indications that identify them and the nature of that money (cash to indicate the banks in which it was deposited, or real estate to indicate its locations, and what other information he owns).” It is noteworthy that the former Minister of Finance (Ali Abdul Amir Allawi) appeared the day before yesterday, Monday, on a television program in which he indicated the presence of more than thirty political and economic figures, whose wealth exceeded one billion dollars.
