The representative of Diyala Governorate, Nawras Al-Issa, today, Friday, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and the Integrity Commission to put an end to the waste of public money in the governorate.
Al-Issa said in a tweet followed by Mawazine News, “The scandal of embezzlement of 9 billion dinars that was revealed within the Diyala Governorate Office is only the tip of the iceberg of what is most terrible and tragic.”
She added, "This matter requires a cavalry, investigative force that uncovers what is hidden and unseen, destroys it, and stops the ongoing waste of public money."
