Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Sajjad Salem, confirmed today, Sunday, that there are major differences between the blocs over the general amnesty law, stressing that there is no political agreement about it.
Salem told Al-Maalouma, “The general amnesty law did not receive any political agreement within the House of Representatives to pass it, as it faces political disagreements regarding the definition of terrorism.”
He added, "Despite the importance of the law, there is no agreement to pass it, due to some fear regarding some of its proposed paragraphs related to terrorism in the draft law." Ended / 25 H
