    Today, Thursday (April 25, 2024), Anbar Provincial Council member Adnan Al-Kubaisi praised the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to the governorate, while noting that the people of the governorate are looking forward to ending the file of martyrs’ salaries.
    Al-Kubaisi said in an interview with "Baghdad Today", "Anbar needs a morale boost, and the Prime Minister's visit achieved this goal, as a number of service projects that the Anbar citizen needs were launched."
    He added, "Visiting the delayed projects reflects interest on the part of the Prime Minister, and he urged the need to complete these projects."
    He pointed out that "the people of Anbar are looking forward to ending the file of martyrs' salaries and compensation, and if there are problems, those who are negligent must be held accountable and not generalized to citizens."
    Yesterday, Wednesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani announced a number of service projects for Anbar Governorate, while chairing a meeting of service departments in the governorate .
    The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement, received by “Baghdad Today,” that “Al-Sudani chaired, in the Anbar Governorate building, a meeting that included the heads of service and executive departments in the governorate, in the presence of the governor, members of the Anbar Council, and a number of deputy ministers, where the governorate’s plans were reviewed.” And its service programs and other sector projects, and the most prominent problems and obstacles facing the progress of project implementation, and directing them to be followed up and addressed with the aim of accelerating their completion according to the approved time limits .  ”
    He added, "The meeting witnessed a review of the projects implemented by the Liberated Areas Reconstruction Fund, in accordance with the priorities set by the government. The file of martyrs and victims of terrorism was also discussed in the presence of the head of the Martyrs Foundation. His Excellency stressed the need for the funds to go to those who truly deserve them .  "
    During the meeting, Al-Sudani announced a number of service projects for the governorate, as stated in a statement by the Prime Minister’s Media Office, which are as follows:
     First: Sanitation sewerage and rainwater sewerage networks projects in Anah district at a cost of 101 billion dinars and in Kubaisa district at a cost of 108 billion dinars  .
     Second: Directing the Ministry of Health to complete the requirements for implementing the two projects below, within the Ministry’s plan and the Iraqi-Chinese agreement  :
     1 -  A project to establish a 200-bed women’s and children’s hospital in Fallujah District .
    2 - A project to establish a 100-bed hospital in Khalidiya District .
    Third: Directing the body of matters related to the implementation of the Al-Rahalia City Water Project .
    During the meeting, Al-Sudani referred to “the sacrifices of the people of Anbar and their standing with the security services in the fight against terrorism, and their drive towards service, reconstruction and development entitlements,” stressing his support for the local government in order to make its work successful, as a ministerial and advisory team is present in every visit to the governorates, identifying important files in the field. Every governorate, and addressing obstacles,” according to the statement .
    The Prime Minister confirmed that he "announced from Anbar the start of the marketing season for all of Iraq, stressing that the delivery of dues last year without delay had strengthened the confidence of the farmer and the farmer in working for subsequent seasons. He also confirmed that the government's plan includes building new hospitals in the Anbar districts, due to the old existing ones there." As well as directing the completion of the Olympic Stadium and its attached facilities at the end of this year, he stated that the governorate center suffers from the incompleteness of sanitation projects, stressing that working on projects without completing the infrastructure is a waste of money, according to the statement.
