[size=45]The National Security Service announced the seizure of one of the largest commercial fraud factories in Basra.[/size]
[size=45]A statement stated, “After receiving intelligence information about the presence of an industrial factory in the Al-Zubair area in Basra that produces adulterated motor oils in quantities reaching thousands of liters and with well-known marketing brands, the Economic Security detachments of our agency, after obtaining judicial approvals, raided the factory site and arrested five defendants of different nationalities.” The factory was closed by law and the accused were referred to the relevant authorities.”[/size]
[size=45]The statement continued, “The National Security Service’s detachments seized two tanker vehicles loaded with smuggled gasoline, estimated at 45,000 thousand liters, with original documents in which the type of product differed from motor oil to gasoline,” noting that “two vehicles were seized and handed over to the Al-Doura Refinery, and the drivers were arrested and found to be involved in previous smuggling operations.”[/size]
