Today, Sunday (June 9, 2024), Director General of the Southern Refineries Company, Hossam Hussein, reviewed the importance of the Al-Ismara Unit, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani in the Basra Refinery.
Hussein told "Baghdad Today", "The Izmara unit will process light naphtha and convert it into gasoline with octane 88," noting that "more than one million and 300 thousand liters of gasoline will be added to local production."
Hussein mentioned the quantities produced by the Karbala refinery, the FCC project , and the Azmara project in the Doura refinery, all of which will add more than 12 thousand cubic meters of high-octane gasoline.
