The Ministry of Oil announced today, Tuesday, that the end of this year will witness the investment of 78 percent of all gas produced in Iraq.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Izzat Saber Ismail, said: “The Ministry will open the Halfaya project this month, which exceeds 300 million standard cubic feet per day,” indicating that “65 percent of all gas produced has been invested.”
He added that "by the end of this year, 78 percent of all gas produced will be invested, which will reduce gas burning to the lowest possible level."
