    The President of the Rusafa Court of Appeal, Judge Imad Al-Jabri, stressed today, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, the necessity of resolving lawsuits within the legal periods and raising the scientific level of judges, taking into account the legal and humanitarian aspects when issuing decisions, after his meeting with personal status judges, to discuss the challenges they face.

    The media center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated in a statement received by Sumaria News that the meeting included the directives of the President of the Court of Appeal regarding the work of the Personal Status Courts and ways to develop them and address the obstacles that hinder their work.

    According to the statement, the necessity of resolving the cases brought before them within their time limits in accordance with the provisions of the law was emphasized, noting that the meeting addressed the opinions of the members of the Civil Cassation Authority regarding the work of judges and the observations indicated therein.



    He stressed the need to raise the scientific aspect of judges and to review the orientations of the Federal Court of Cassation and the Court of Appeal in their original capacity when issuing decisions.

    The President of the Court of Appeal also explained during the meeting that "the work of the judge in the scope of personal status cases, in addition to his work being legal, has a legitimate and humanitarian aspect and entails the rights of litigants, in addition to its impact on the family, which is considered the nucleus of society, stressing the need to take into account the preservation of family ties and taking them into account when issuing decisions.
