    [size=45]Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani confirmed during his meeting with the US Ambassador to Iraq that the talks between Erbil and Baghdad are proceeding “frankly and positively,” hoping that they will benefit the citizens of the region.[/size]
    [size=45]The media office of the Kurdistan Presidency stated in a statement that "the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski."[/size]
    [size=45]The office pointed out that "the meeting focused on discussing the preparations made to hold the Kurdistan Parliament elections."[/size]
    [size=45]According to the statement, the Prime Minister stressed the “necessity of holding the elections in a safe and fair environment, ensuring their integrity and transparency under international supervision, and away from any violations.”[/size]
    [size=45]The office indicated in its statement that "the two sides discussed during the meeting the relations between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government."[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister confirmed to the Ambassador that “the meetings of the Federal Ministerial Council for the Economy are in Erbil,” indicating that “the talks are proceeding with complete frankness and positivity, and we hope that their results will benefit the citizens.”[/size]
