Today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the Ministry of Transport issued a clarification regarding a photo of its Minister, Razzaq Muhaibis, with the Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani.
A statement by the Ministry of Transport, received by Baghdad Today, stated that "some media and social media outlets circulated pictures of Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad receiving Transport Minister Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, while he was wearing Arab clothing."
The report indicated that "Minister Al-Saadawi was on a private visit to Abdul Ghani at his residence in Baghdad, after the latter's return from a medical trip, and was not on an official visit that required him to wear the official uniform for his job."
