Iraqi oil suffered heavy losses on Wednesday (October 16, 2024) on the third day of trading, after its prices exceeded the $77 per barrel barrier at the end of trading last week.
According to data reviewed by Baghdad Today, Basra Heavy crude oil recorded $70.52 per barrel during today's trading, while the average recorded $73.67 per barrel, with a change rate of +1.54 and +1.49, respectively.
The data also showed stability in global crude prices, as British Brent crude recorded $74.38, while US West Texas Intermediate crude recorded $70.76 per barrel, at a rate of -3.58 and -3.58.
