The President of the Kurdistan Region issues a decision to establish three districts in Dohuk

Shafaq News/ The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, announced today, Thursday, the establishment of three new districts (Sharya, Masirk, and Tanahi) within Duhok Governorate.
This came according to a regional decree issued by the President of the Kurdistan Region, which was received by Shafaq News Agency, adding that the decree is "in accordance with the law of the presidency of the region, and based on a letter issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the region in accordance with the law of the provinces in the Kurdistan Region."
"The decree will enter into force upon signing," he added.
The establishment of these three districts in Dohuk Governorate will contribute to expanding public services and providing more administrative facilities for the citizens of these districts, according to the presidential statement.
