An international poll revealed, on Wednesday (October 30, 2024), that Iraqis are among the few peoples in the world who prefer Republican candidate Donald Trump to win over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential elections, which will be held next Tuesday (November 5, 2024).
According to a Gallup poll, 40 percent of Iraqis voted for Trump, compared to 38 percent who voted for Harris.
The poll indicated that 22 percent of Iraqis refused to vote for any of the candidates.
The poll showed different percentages expressed by Iranians and Lebanese, as 43 percent of Iranians voted for Harris compared to 19 percent for Trump.
While 57 percent of Lebanese voted for Harris, compared to 36 percent who voted for Trump, according to the Gallup research organization .
