[rtl]Basra / NINA / Basra Gas Company, within the community investment projects, in cooperation with the Iraqi Society for Development, launched the traffic safety project (Salamatak 24) to promote a culture of traffic safety among students.
The company's media stated in a statement: "The project included placing iron barriers in front of school gates to contribute to organizing the movement of students during attendance and departure, planning designated crossing areas, and training guides from school staff to organize traffic and help students cross the street during peak periods," indicating that "this project has contributed to nearly 20,000 male and female students distributed across 60 schools in Al-Zubair District."
The Managing Director of Basra Gas Company, Andrew Weber, said that this initiative will reduce traffic accidents that students are exposed to in Basra and is one of the initiatives launched by Basra Gas Company to support the education sector." / End[/rtl]
