    Economy News - Baghdad
[rtl]Environment Ministry Advisor Ammar Jaber Al-Atta confirmed today, Wednesday, that the ministry has not yet controlled waste burning sites and landfill sites.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Atta said, "The prevailing weather conditions are a result of burning waste, landfill sites, and transfer stations. Also, a large section of the smelting furnaces returned to operation today, and the Ministry of Interior has issued another duty to demolish and remove them."[/rtl]
[rtl]He explained that "our cadres are spread everywhere and identify areas where waste is being burned in cooperation with the security authorities, but so far there is no complete control over this issue."[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Atta pointed out that "the committee formed by the Prime Minister's Office presented a set of recommendations, some of which are immediate and some of which are medium-term," indicating that "these recommendations will contribute to reducing the emission of these odors that are active in the morning with the movement of the winds."[/rtl]
