[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Ministry of Electricity announced the loss of 5,500 megawatts due to the complete cessation of Iranian gas supplies.
The ministry said that Iranian gas supplies were completely stopped for maintenance purposes for (15 days from the Iranian side) from Baghdad, the central region and the Middle Euphrates governorates, which caused the system to lose (5,500 megawatts),
adding that it was agreed that gas releases today, Sunday, would be (25 million cubic meters / day) and now the payment is (7 million) transferred from Baghdad and the center to the southern region.
The statement explained: "The Ministry of Electricity will coordinate, according to government directives, with the Ministry of Oil at a higher level to compensate for the gas lost by the system.
The ministry called on everyone to take into account the circumstances beyond control and maintain the loads until the completion of maintenance work and the resumption of pumping gas in the required quantities. / End 3 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/rtl]
