Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Murtada Al-Saadi, confirmed today, Sunday, that the ministerial amendment depends on consensus within the State Administration Alliance.
Al-Saadi said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, "The ministerial amendment depends on the political forces that form the State Administration Alliance, which includes more than 253 members of the Iraqi parliament."
He added, "The political forces participating in the Council of Ministers and the State Administration Alliance have a say in discussing the weaknesses and observations on the ministers that they identify."
He pointed out that "changing some ministers according to the remaining life of the government is difficult unless there is coordination with the political forces within the House of Representatives," noting that "if there is no high coordination between Al-Sudani and the political forces within the House of Representatives, the names will be dropped if they are mentioned by the Prime Minister."
He pointed out that "there are a number of ministries that were discussed to be included in the ministerial reshuffle, especially those that were noted for not carrying out the tasks assigned to them, such as education, oil, defense, and agriculture." End 25/S
