    Information / Baghdad..
Legal expert Ahmed Shahid Al-Shammari said on Thursday that amending the provisions and paragraphs of the constitution is dependent on political consensus.
Al-Shammari told Al-Maalouma Agency, “There is great difficulty in changing the articles and paragraphs of the constitution without making political understandings, indicating that demands to amend the articles of the constitution at the present time are being rejected by many blocs.”
He added, “The Constitution required that it be amended in accordance with Article 142 of the Constitution within the House of Representatives,” indicating that “There are many articles in the Constitution that need to be amended and redrafted again.” Ended/25H
