The Supreme Council statement on reforms
Islamic Supreme Council announced on Saturday its full support to the position of supreme religious authority and method of dealing with the political, security, economic and service conditions, as called for a mass political majority, noted that the advocacy on independents or technocrats must include everyone, including the Prime Minister.
Supreme Council said in a statement received a copy of it to the radio tow, "The joint meeting of the body leading the Political Bureau of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, on the recent situation experienced by the country, the meeting decided its full support to the position of supreme religious authority and method of dealing with the political, security and economic conditions and service and others. "
The statement added, "The meeting also decided to cooperate with the forces of the National Alliance and the Iraqi political and parliamentary powers to form a majority bloc in accordance with the political and national program to repair the situation."
He pointed out that "the support of the reforms approved by the Prime Minister to fight corruption and streamlining the work of the state and the face of difficult economic conditions and to meet the requirements of the fight against terrorism and Daash to achieve victory over the expeditious and cleanse the territory of Iraq from their evil."
The statement concluded that "the call about independents or technocrats and an end to political quota system in order to be sincere and serious must include everyone, including the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Atptad to the will of the Iraqi people, the overwhelming majority."
