     Baghdad / Munir al-Jubouri 

    Called on the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture, on Monday, to the protection of agricultural produce and control on imported vegetables inthe country, and insisting on the need between border crossing points and the finance ministry coordination on customs tariff, the General Union Cooperative Society peasant, confirmed that the peasants have suffered during the last two years , significant losses as a result the absence of adequate government measures to protect the local product. 
    the Minister of Agriculture, Falah Hassan Zeidan in an interview with (long - Presse) on the opening of the Ministry of the eighth Agricultural show sidelines and Arbor day on the land of the Baghdad international Fair, said that " the establishment of such a exhibition on agriculture, aimed at developing this sector and toincrease crop production and create partnerships between the public and private sectors in addition to theurging of the ministry departments to make more effort. " 
    he pointed Zidane that" product Protection Act stipulated in the Iraqi constitution, but the problem that we face are at border crossing points and I think it should be there is coordination between these border crossing points and the Ministry of Finance on the customs tariff , "and urged the concerned authorities to work on" the protection of the 
     agricultural product. " 
    for his part, chairman of the General Federation of Association of the agricultural cooperative, good hunting al - Tamimi said in an interview with (long - Presse) that" the agricultural sector is going through difficult circumstances facing major challenges due to the invasion of imported product and of course if we want advancement of our agriculture there must be protection of the Iraqi product. " 
    said Tamimi , that" some brothers in the Ministry of Agriculture assert the existence of "calendar" agricultural and so this whole thing is a lie because Tiller began to lose the last two years losses are very large and is unable to agriculture and this is what you wish for some of the states for the personal benefit to them ,"stressing that" there will be a parliamentary government interest in this side to revive the agricultural sector, as well as the industrial sector. " 
    in the same context, stressed agricultural expert Adnan Oz Shammari said in an interview to the (long -Presse) that "large quantities of vegetables coming into Iraq from neighboring countries, which caused the stalled the advancement of the local product , " and expressed hope "that there will be a government decision to reduce this matter In order to support the agricultural sector in Iraq. "
