Independent Electoral Commission confirmed that it had not received any request to merge the provincial elections and parliamentary elections , the
Commission said it had the merger not discussed and Agliathamn technical and logistical point of view with indicated that they would consider any request it from the legislative and clarify technical and professional opinion in this regard
and pointed out that it has made great strides and put them in thepreparations of the various plans and spent money to prepare for provincial elections , which will hopefully take place on thetwentieth of April 2017, according to legal timings set for theelections.
