The Minister of Oil Directs SOC to Rehabilitate & Develop the Area Around Al-Amia Port.

Mr. Jabbar A. Allibi the minister of oil directed the south oil company (SOC) to start the digging & cleaning operations for the surrounding area of the Amia oil Port by coordination with the ministry of transportation.
In order to raise the exportation and the fluency of oil shipping to the tanker ships. The ministry of transportation shown their readiness to cooperate with the ministry of oil to do these jobs.
Mr. Allibi also directed to form a committee includes different specialties to monitor the financial & technical capabilities of the international oil companies whom are working within the petroleum licensing rounds in order to make a method of work with these companies to use some of their financial allocations to train & develop the Iraqi staff in order to improve the performance and qualify the work environment in the oil fields.
