    Today, Monday, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Nazanin Mohamed Wassou, confirmed that the ministry is keen to rehabilitate, develop and maintain all strategic roads.
    The ministry said in a statement that "the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Nazanin Muhammad Wusu, was briefed on the field on the implementation stages of the project to rehabilitate and expand the Kut-Baghdad Road (Basmaya entrance) with a length of 7 km, one of the projects to develop the entrances to the capital, Baghdad."
    The minister confirmed, according to the statement, that "the ministry is working day and night to complete the project in accordance with the approved international technical specifications, while adhering to the planned schedule."
    She indicated, "The ministry's keenness to rehabilitate, develop and maintain all strategic roads, including the rehabilitation of two entrances to Baghdad to reduce traffic accidents and maintain the safety of citizens."
