UNESCO to hold workshop to support Iraq’s educational experiences

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The UNESCO held a workshop over future of the Technical and professional education in Iraq and discussed the topics related to the progress happening globally, with participation of the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, stressing willingness to transfer the world expertise into Iraq in field of the technical education.
Representative of UNESCO, Nabeel al-Naqash said “In collaboration with the Education Ministry and the Higher Education Ministry, we identified the projects the UNESCO will establish in 2013 which cover many topics including the technical and professional education for its importance in the educational process.”
“The UNESCO will also transfer the international experiences to make the teachers able to take the decision according to the current situation in the world,” he added.
For his part, the representative of the MoHE, Salah al-Niaimi, stated “The workshop will discuss many developmental programs such as the International Bolonia program where we will discuss the possibility of applying it in Iraq.”
