    Fill the cookie press. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to fit the cylinder with the cutting disk of your choice (here, a flower shape). Use a spoon to firmly pack the cookie dough into the cylinder of the cookie press, following the markings to determine how much it should be filled.

    Press out the cookies. Securely attach the handle to the cookie press. Hold the cookie press upright and position it over an ungreased cookie sheet so that it is touching lightly, then press the dough out onto the sheet.
