Sadr comments on McGowork's visit to BaghdadSadr's leader Moqtada al-Sadr on Wednesday described the presence of US envoy Brett McCurk as "ugly" in Baghdad.
"If he continues to engage in Iraqi affairs if he continues, his presence is ugly in Iraq," Sadr said in a commentary on fears of manipulation and falsification of the results of parliamentary elections.
US President Bill McCormack's envoy arrived in Iraq last week to discuss Iraqi political alliances to be formed after the results of the Iraqi elections are announced.
