    Direct : The US dollar rose against major currencies during trading on Thursday, amid a positive outlook on the interest rate in the United States, such as the Declaration of economic data.
    By 7:50 am GMT, the dollar was up against the euro by 0.3% to $ 1.1567, and the yen gained 110.86 yen by 0.3%.
    The greenback was up 0.2% at $ 1.2881 and settled against the Swiss franc at 0.9835 francs.
    At the level of the main dollar index, which measures the performance of the currency against 6 major currencies, rose by 0.2% to 95.339 points.
    The US Federal Reserve released yesterday that the interest rate may be raised "soon" if economic data continue to support their expectations.
    Separately, trade representatives from China and the United States met yesterday in Washington for trade talks for the first time in two months and are expected to continue on Wednesday.
    China and the United States have begun to apply tariffs on reciprocal imports from the two countries worth $ 16 billion from today.
    Industrial and service activity data, consumer confidence, new home sales and US jobless claims are due later in the day.
