    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The 
    head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee of the al-Houthi group, Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, on Friday thanked Iraq for its opposition to the final communiqué of the emergency Arab summit in Mecca. 
    "Thanks to Iraq and the president of Iraq, Iraq's position has revealed the depth of the historical relationship between Yemen and Iraq," said Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, through his personal account in Twitter. 
    Al-Houthi said that yesterday's position "proved that the statements are written in advance for summits, which confirms that the meetings are formal."

    Iraq objected to the final communiqué of the Arab emergency summit on Thursday, which condemned Iran's "interference" in the affairs of other countries. 
    "While Iraq reiterates its denunciation of any action that would target the security of the Kingdom and the security of our brothers in the Gulf, I would like to make it clear that we did not participate in the drafting of the final communiqué and that Iraq," said Barham Salih, To register its objection to the final communiqué in its current wording ". 
    "The regional and international crisis with Iran threatens to turn into a comprehensive war if we do not improve its administration," President Barham Salih said during the summit, according to Reuters. 
    Saleh called on neighbors and allies to "support Iraq's stability".
    On May 19, Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz called on leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab states to hold two Arab and Gulf summits on Thursday (May 30th) to "consult and coordinate with brotherly states in order to enhance security and stability in the region, In light of recent attacks on the Kingdom and the UAE. " 
    The two summits coincide with the Islamic summit, scheduled for May 31, on Friday, also in Mecca
