    BAGHDAD - Mawazine News 
    The media office of the Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, on Wednesday, details of the meeting, which the latter gathered with the Emir of Kuwait, Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. 
    In a statement received by Mawazine News, the office said that "Abdul Mahdi received the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday at the head of a large ministerial delegation," noting that "the meeting, which was attended by the official delegations, The development of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations and the opportunities for cooperation between the two countries and the activation of the free trade area, in addition to discussing the regional situation, and the discussions prevailed in an atmosphere of friendly and frank, understanding and exchange of views on various issues. "
    "We are honored to meet you in your country and between your brothers. We have extensive ties and we have experienced many difficulties and we have stood together against them and we have won them," he told Kuwait's Amir. 
    He praised the "positions, wisdom and moderation of the Amir of Kuwait in all circumstances." He said, "His visit to the State of Kuwait, the productive meetings held by the ministers and the co-operation files discussed and the importance of completing them in Baghdad, activating the cooperation agreements concluded in Kuwait, encouraging investments, For the benefit of the two countries. "
    "The Iraqi economy has been recovering and the country is experiencing security and stability thanks to our armed forces, our security apparatuses and the sacrifices of our people," he said. 
    For his part, the Amir of the State of Kuwait expressed "his thanks and appreciation for the good reception received by him and the delegation accompanying him", stressing that "his visit today comes after the visit of the Prime Minister of Kuwait and prove the strength of bilateral relations." 
    "I would like to see Iraq develop and flourish and keen on Iraq as a shield for my country and I hope our relations will be further developed," he said,
