revealed a source familiar with the details of a meeting between leaders of the construction coalition during the past days, while noting that they refused to withdraw confidence from Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi.
The source told Mawazine News that "the meeting confirmed the continuation of the government of Adel Abdul-Mahdi for the time being."
He added, "The meeting also agreed that if the confidence was withdrawn from the Mahdi, the building alliance will submit a request to the Presidency of the House of Representatives that the building alliance is the majority and not the alliance of reconstruction and reform."
