The parliamentary Finance Committee, on Wednesday, on the proportion of the new Kurdistan region within the draft federal budget law for 2020 after the visit of the Kurdish delegation to Baghdad.
Committee member Hanin al-Qadu said in a statement to the information, that "the Kurdish delegation that arrived in Baghdad agreed with the federal government to commit to export 250 thousand barrels of oil per day through the National Sumo company early next year," pointing out that "the delegation demanded that the share of the region Of the budget 14%, but the agreement was to determine the proportion of the region 12.7%.
He added that "the delegation agreed to the rate of 12.7% in exchange for taking half of the border outlets located in the provinces of the region and the other half sent to Baghdad," noting that "the current political circumstances forced the provincial government to give up some controversial issues with Baghdad."
