    The Prime Minister called for economic affairs adviser appearance of Mohammed Saleh, Saturday, to open up to foreign investment to cope with the financial hardship experienced by the country, warning of reports that give rise to panic about the economic situation.




    Saleh said in an interview that "Iraq is a financial hardship, but at the same time not collapsed or poor countries, but we must nevertheless tend to caution and anticipation, "noting that" there are reports raise a lot of panic in this regard. "




    Saleh stressed the need to "open up to foreign investment and meet the excess expenditure to cope with this distress," adding that "the reforms launched by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi recently are beginning to re-examine the structure of the Iraqi economy."

    I teach a course in finance to help people.  There is a teaching, "when the agony of staying the same is greater than the pain of change, people will embrace change."

    People need to see the trouble in Iraq from this perspective. 

    The more pain we see, the more the Iraqi people will demand change. 

    Saleh is giving the solution, economic development funded by investors. 

    Sad, it has to be this way, but people are people.  They will embrace the change... Or suffer with more pain.
