    He added that the minister said of the Iranian capital, Tehran, said the ministry is seeking through the talks with the Iranian side to activate the joint work between the two countries in the field of religious tourism and to overcome the obstacles they face, especially the visa fees and taxes that are imposed on entrants and provide security for visitors and border crossings and connecting line railway between Basra - Shalamjah and the provision of transport modes and improve roads used by visitors and provide services of housing, feeding and debt settlement and exchange of visits between the two countries on a quarterly basis.

    He Shammari said the head of the pilgrimage and the visit Iran Ahmad Mousavi said that his country is seeking to make every effort to activate the joint work between the two countries and resolve all the problems related to border crossings and airports, duties, taxes and visa and others, expressed hope that making the joint technical committee further efforts in order to solve all the problems and provide more services for visitors from both countries.
    The bilateral talks were attended by Iraqi Ambassador to Tehran Mohammad Majid Sheikh and a number of Iranian officials and workers in the field of religious tourism.
