Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Premier Haidar al-Ibadi pledged that his government will not waste

the rights and sacrifices of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).

In a meeting with PMF commanders, Saturday, after three day of his return from Washington, he pointed that his talk with the US administration was "clear" about them.

During Washington's meeting, he said , before the International Coalition countries, "it is necessary separate guns from the political action and no arms are permitted out of governmental control".

In a speech before US Peace Institute, Premier Ibadi spoke about rewarding the PMF members and joining those who desire to the security forces, as well as disarming them.

Many criticism were voiced to Ibadi in Washington within the framework of US moves to end the role of the PMF .

During the meeting with the commanders, he praised the role of PMF in achieving the recent victories against Da'ish (ISIS) organization and stressed that all attempts to divide Iraq failed.

On the other hand, al-Nujaba' Movement, member of the PMF, stated that Premier Ibadi "did not mention dissolving the PMF or merging with another institution during his visit to Washington.

Assistant Military Commander of the Movement Nasr al-Shammari confessed that the movement

receives Iranian support in funds and arms.

"There was a translation mistake and was corrected", he added.

"Iran is officially cooperating with Iraq upon Iraqi request", he pointed out.

In addition, a Sadrist affiliated al-Ahrar Bloc described the PMF as " doctrinal reserve and an Iraqi force that will remain as long the religious authority remains.

MP Awad al-Awadi stressed that the Sadrist Saraya al-Salam is part of the PMF, and warned of internal and external machinations that aimed to prevent Iraq of being an independent state.
