{Politics: Al-Furat News} Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today, Saturday, that electronic development is accelerating in moments, not days or years, and we must keep up.
The Sudanese media office stated in a statement received by {Al-Furat News}, “The Ministry of the Interior, in addition to its security title, is a service ministry and in direct contact with the citizen, stressing the importance of sharing data between departments and institutions, and that the readiness of information will raise the level of the Ministry of Interior’s performance in the field.” Track the crime.
He added, "The importance of the digital data center comes in line with the directives of the Prime Minister to ensure data security and sharing, and to rely on automation and digital transformation in providing services to citizens. It is one of the outcomes of the e-passport, e-visa, and e-gates project contract concluded with the Police Martyrs Fund, and will serve the Ministry of The Ministry of Interior and all its formations, such as the electronic passport, electronic visa, national card, vehicle registration system, driving licenses, criminal evidence, identity directorate, and others, and it can also support ministries and the private sector in hosting or backing up data in the public interest.
He continued, "The center accommodates (200) digital data cabins, accommodates future development and expansion for the next (20) years, and was built to high specifications, as it can continue to operate for (30) days in the event of a complete national power outage."
Al-Sudani added: “Our government is a government of service, and when the service is achieved quickly and easily and we obtain the satisfaction of the citizen, then we have achieved our goal,” noting that “speed is required, and accuracy and security of information are required.”
He continued: "We held a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Digital Transformation, and we stressed the importance of not dispersing efforts through the large number of committees, and the more the data is unified and within a clear state policy, the more it is possible to develop performance and maintain the level of service."
He pointed out that "his directives are that dealing with everything issued by the Supreme Committee for Digital Transformation should be considered a work plan that must be implemented, and that the process of preserving information today is not limited to fortified rooms, as much as it depends on a cybersecurity system to maintain the security of information."
He stated that “electronic development is accelerating in moments, not days or years, and we must keep up with this acceleration,” stressing his directives “to all ministries and departments, that the official’s evaluation depends on his ability to think to develop work and protect data.”
He added, "The importance of sharing data with the rest of the ministries and institutions, and providing it to the Ministry of Planning, the Central Bank, and the Social Protection Network," pointing out that there have been more than 38.188 million unified cards, and this information is important to provide to the rest of the ministries and institutions.
He concluded by saying, "Sharing information enables us to deal with crime with quick measures, and the readiness of information will increase performance in tracking down criminals."
