    Today, Saturday, the Chairman of the Electricity and Industry Committee in the Basra Governorate Council, Thaer Al-Salhi, revealed a plan for multiple projects related to the electricity sector in the governorate, which was included in the 2024 budget plan.
    Al-Salhi told Al-Maalouma, “There is a plan for projects in the field of electrical energy for maintenance and maintenance that has been submitted within the federal budget allocated for Basra.”
    He added, "Basra's current production of electrical energy exceeds what is required, and the remainder of Basra's share is currently supplying the national grid."
    He pointed out that "the committee formed by the Provincial Council to negotiate with Baghdad in order to adjust the percentage of allocations for Basra to carry out strategic projects." Ended / 25 Q.
