[rtl]Baghdad/ NINA /Iraq and Syria agreed to form joint ministerial committees of experts and specialists to discuss issues that strengthen relations and increase cooperation in various fields.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, Faisal Al-Miqdad, on the sidelines of the tenth session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, which was held in Beijing.
During the meeting, according to the statement, a group was discussed. Issues of mutual interest and ways to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields. The two sides also exchanged views on the security situation in the region, and the importance of continuing communication to adopt unified positions regarding combating terrorism and working together to confront it was stressed.
